                             Ella's learning conference reflection.

I am really enjoyed my learning conference. The information I got I found encouraging. I am very startled with where I am with Spelling, Writing, Math and every thing. I am working on with all the information I got.

Science

                                       Science.

For science I made a volcano. I made a volcano. My question was... What makes a volcano erupt.
Today I am going to show my eruption. Here are some my answers! When ever extreme pressure builds int he molten along fault lines openings or cracks in weak spots in the earth crust an eruption is likely to happen. During an eruption molten materials soon to become lava gush out through spaces soon to be thick cloud. I made my model by cutting in halve a fizzy drink bottle. Then I papered mache   and hot glued paper to make a volcano shape. Then I panted my model black then brown finally green on the bottom.

Masterchef

                                                             

                        Masterchef kahikatea Team.

For masterchef my group made a salad wrap. We decided to make a salad wrap because you were only aloud a quarter of fat and a quarter of salt. Theses people were in my group... Elena Jack Billy Brooke and me.   

The shooting objects.

As they swiftly shoot into place across the sapphire sky,leaving trails of dust. As the twinkling objects climbed into bed.All the shiny yellow objects come in through the window, giving me winks. The shimmering objects give me winks giggle and smile  down at the universe. Making sure everybody is safe.

Suddenly I wake up seeing all these shooting objects. Stars are in my room. They all wave goodbye we will watch over you as they dance away. They nestle down quietly for a sleep. They wave goodbye to the sun the sun waves back.Just before the last one goes it sings twinkle twinkle little stars. He gives me hugs and blinks.

School Fair

At the school fair my class was selling sweet treats, there was popcorn, toffee apples, and all sort of things you could imagine well practically.I enjoyed room 4's basketball game it was really fun. I also liked eating heaps of sweet treats. The sweet treats were so delicious I could stay there all the time. I also enjoyed helping out behind the sweet treats stall. I liked the pet stall.

As Tui comes in with their chant.Thunder thunder... The nine year old girls take their marks get set go! SPLASH! I do a perfect dive. I do freestyle "Yahh" I won. I came first in all my heats. Which are backstroke,breaststroke. In the all finals I came 3rd. "Ya!" As I climb out of the pool. Next up the 4 fastest girls. Marine takes her marks get set go! She dives into the water then Grace dives in  gets to the other end in a flash. Then I go then Elana dives into the glimmering pool. Then pack up. Tui is coming first place.

Marae Noho

                                                   
At the Marae I learnt how to weave a flax flower which is called a putiputi. What I found interesting was getting to sleep at night because people were being noisy. I enjoyed making new friends and playing hide and seek.

                    Hi, I'm Ella and I am 9 years old. My favourite subjects are reading and writing. The activities I do in the afternoon are  gym, swimming, netball and piano. I like playing sport because I like being active.
